My favorite @ home activities!!!

  • Knitting-

All you need is some yarn and knitting needles! If you decide you are in to it, you may want to get a knitting bag. I enjoy knitting because once you have done it for a bit, you can do it without thinking. I find it therapeutic. I also really enjoy making gifts for my family! It is an inexpensive, but luxurious gift! You can get really creative with it! There are so many different yarn textures to try out!

  • Embroidery-

You will need an embroidery needle, embroidery floss, an embroidery hoop and fabric! You may also want to order an instructional book to help! But you can always use YouTube. I like to try out different patterns and pictures. I had an old jean skirt that didn't fit anymore, my friend recommended that I turn it into a bag! So I embroidered cute designs all over it! I chose a fruit theme! Click HERE for a video to help you begin!

  • Coloring Books-
Adult coloring books have become very popular recently! They can be a lot of fun and very relaxing! Feel free to make the coloring books even more intricate by adding your own designs into large spaces! Always feel free to color outside of the lines!

  • Drawing

Any sort of writing utensil and a paper is all you need! Get creative, you could draw your dream house, your pet or your backyard! I’ve even drawn my foot before!! It is completely up to you!

You have so many interesting hobbies! Maybe this summer you can teach me either knitting or sewing.

All of your ideas for activities are great1 Sometimes, when you
have been inactive for a while, it is easy to mistake boredom for lack of energy. It sounds like you are avoiding that by being open to challenges.
